Legal AZ was established in 1984, and has steadily built its reputation on providing quality representation for reasonable and affordable fees. One of our areas of expertise is the recovery of excess proceeds, and over the years we have recovered over $2.5 million dollars for our clients.


Morgan SeegmillerTravis R. Campbell
Attorney Morgan Seegmiller joined Legal AZ in August 2010 and works in civil litigation, commercial litigation, real estate law, bankruptcy law, loan modifications, and general debtor law.  Morgan has represented our clients in court, in mediation, before city and state tax departments, and in general settlement negotiations.

Prior to his current position, Morgan worked as a law clerk for several small law firms in the Phoenix area.  In the past, Morgan has also been a licensed Realtor at Century 21 Arizona-Foothills and a small business owner of an importing and sales company.

Morgan is married with three children.  When not with his family, Morgan spends time serving his church in various capacities, playing sports, volunteering at his kids’ elementary school, and keeping up with politics and current events.

Travis R. Campbell Travis R. Campbell was born and raised in Phoenix, a sixth-generation Arizonan. He graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education (English) summa cum laude and from the Arizona State University College of Law with his Juris Doctorate.

While in law school, Travis was a member of the Honor Code Hearing Board, Jessup international moot court team, and Order of the Barristers; he also practiced as a student attorney with the Civil Justice Clinic, assisting indigent clients in administrative proceedings.

Upon graduation, Travis practiced civil litigation for several years, focusing on construction defect and insurance defense. He now exclusively practices Estate Planning and Probate law at Legal AZ.

Travis cares deeply about understanding his clients’ needs and resolving conflicts. He has seen first-hand the consequences of inadequate and insufficient planning and is dedicated to helping individuals and families effectively plan for the future.

Travis is a member of the City of Tempe Police Citizens Review Board and former member of the Tempe Parks, Recreation and Golf Advisory Board, he dedicates time to local youth groups, including the Boy Scouts of America, and volunteers with Wills for Heroes.

Katy RuizWith a paralegal degree from Phoenix College, has primary responsibility for filing and assisting with excess proceeds and bankruptcy cases, as well as insuring that all subsequent documents are timely filed, and answering client questions about the status of their case.
